okay, now that you have finished writing out what you ope to accomplish this year take some time to review what you wrote
and think about why you want to accomplish these things
what are the benefits to you
if you want to start an excersize program – why? what is the benefit to you?
if you want to find a new job – why? what is the benefit to you?
ask yourself these questions for each of your goals
be clear on why you want to accomplish these goals
are they goals that will indeed benefit you
if you are not clear on the benefits to you take some time to think about it
you are less likely to accomplish something if there are not clear benefits to you and for tht matter you will be exerting time an energy toward accomplishing something that in fact you might not really want and it will take away your attention from working on what you really want
if it helps take a seperate piece of papter for each goal write the goal at the top of the page and then under that write the benefits to you
if you can not really come up with benefits or unclear about them they may not really be goals you want to accomplish this year and you may want to put those away for now and revisit them another time
take time and think and write
